‘By the fireside SONG CIRCLE’ is the inspiration for these new, monthly FRIDAY SESSIONS ~
Sound & vibration, including our own voice, is the very best way to nurture a bright, warm & expansive heart💓. And there’s nothing like a deeply nourishing & joy-filled sound immersion to support your transition to SPRING🌱 !
We all know MUSIC lifts our heart & shifts our mood, the vibrations helping us to release tension & held emotions, triggering those ‘feel good vibes’. Sounding/voicing is like giving ourselves an inner massage ~ it also facilitates a fuller exhalation, making space for the new & inviting a deeper, revitalising breath. And there’s nothing like joining our voices together to feel connected & joyful !
And a note here, we all have a voice – these sessions are about kindly exploring together without judgment ~ it’s a perfect place to come & let go of any ‘I can’t sing’ inner chatter & just give it a try !
Each sessions will be unique ~ Starting with a deeply relaxing SOUND BATH, perfect to sooth, rest & relax from your busy week, you’ll then be guided into peaceful visualisation inspired by YOGA NIDRA. We'll gently awaken voice & body with sounding practices, & move into simple call/response ancient MANTRAS & BHAJANS (both in Sanskrit & English) led by VOICE & GUITAR, as well as a fun song or two ! ~ & to round off, you can sit back & enjoy some LIVE music & song. How does that sound? :)
No previous experience or yoga gear needed! ~ all mats, comfy cushions & blankets provided.

Belle Greenwood is both a yoga teacher & yoga therapist with over 20 years experience, alongside a career as a singer/ songwriter. She has lead yoga retreats internationally for the past 16 years, incorporating her singer/songwriter hat to share mantra, music & singing & where the most common feedback has been : ‘I didn’t think I’d like that, but I really truly enjoyed it !“
Belle continues her musical career, as a singer/songwriter, developing guitar & music production skills, & enjoying collaborating with fellow musicians. She has just recorded her first solo original EP soon to be released. She has been a practicing Buddhist since 2002.

Awaken out of winter hibernation & bring a spring to your step! Join to salute the Spring sunshine & breath prana throughout your whole being, livening up your inner-body zest ! We'll incluce heart opening backbends to help energize & revitalize, & twists to help detoxify sleepy sluggish organs & strengthen metabolic fire!
A little about the layout of the day… we'll start with a more dynamic morning session focussing on asana & awakening pranayama practices. After a shared light lunch, we'll continue delving a little deeper, including meditation practices which could be a stepping stone to home practice if you so wish. We'll round off the day with a deeply restorative guided Yoga Nidra (‘yoga sleep’).
This is a day for all to come & explore, for us to share our yoga practice in more depth, to unravel specific postures/practices, to question, discover, play & maybe challenge & stretch our boundaries a little further... but most of all to enjoy & relax together in the beautiful environment of Siobhan Davies Studios !
Open to all levels - for beginners, a perfect introduction & for existing yogis, an opportunity to deepen & boost your practice.
